Material List

  • Ashland® Curly Sticks
  • Ashland® Wicker Vase
  • Spray Paint – White
  • Martha Stewart Crafts™ Acrylic Paint – Mace, Pink Dahlia, Beach Glass, Pond, Scottish Highlands, Meadow Lark and Chestnut Brown
  • Leather – Brown
  • Wood Beads
  • Paintbrush
 

Project Instructions

Spray paint the wicker vase white. Let dry.

Water down Chestnut Brown paint and do a wash on top of the white to darken it. Set aside and let dry.

Paint various patterns and stripes onto curly sticks using Martha Stewart Crafts™ acrylic paints. May take multiple coats. Let dry between coats.

Add painted sticks to the vase.

Finish it off by tying strips of leather around the vase and adding wood beads to the end of the strands.
