Step 1 Punch a 2½" circle out of the white/scrap paper. Fold into quarters and unfold. Take one edge of the circle and fold it toward the middle intersection, aligning one end of the crease to a quarter crease. Repeat this step until you achieve an equilateral triangle.
Step 2 Trace the folded triangle onto the piece of chipboard or heavy cardstock with a pencil. Cut out the equilateral triangle with a straight edge and matte knife from the chipboard.
Step 3 Use the Recollections™ 2½" circle punch to cut out a total of eight circles. You can punch these out from different patterned scrapbooking paper.
Step 4 Use the equilateral triangle cut-out and align it with the middle of a 2½" circle. Place on top of the cork board or foam sheet and crease around the edges of the triangle using your bone folder or plastic card (credit cards work well). Repeat this step for all eight circles. Fold along each crease of the circles.
Step 5 Using your hot glue gun, adhere one folded edge of a circle to another folded edge of a different circle. Keep aligning and gluing the edges of every circle to another until you have completed the ball shape.
Step 6 Fold the strip of ribbon in half, insert into an open crease of the ball, and hold in place with hot glue.
Step 7 Place adhesive gems onto the outside of the ball to bling it up!
Step 8 Add ribbon to hang.
