Paper Covered Birdhouse
Birdhouses come in all sorts of shapes and styles, sure to please friends and fowl alike!
- Wooden Birdhouse of choice
- FolkArt® Acrylic Paint: Black Cherry, Vintage Orange
- Martha Stewart Crafts® Turquoise Glitter
- Assorted Scrapbook Paper of choice
- Flower Hole Punches
- Assorted Buttons
- Craft Glue
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Paper Towels
- Paper Plate
Paint body of birdhouse with vintage orange, let dry.
Paint edge of roof and base with black cherry, let dry.
Glue paper of choice on roof.
Cut 2-inch squares of another paper and glue to house overlapping as you glue.
Punch flowers from paper and glue to house as desired.
Cut a 4-inch x 1-inch piece of paper and accordion pleat. Glue ends together to create flower and glue a punched flower to center. Glue a button to center of punched flower. Dip edges of pleated flower in glue then into glitter; let dry. Hot glue flower to house. Repeat to create a second flower.
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
Use any scrapbook paper to create this birdhouse to compliment the décor in any room.
Use craft glue to glue unless otherwise indicated.
