Project Instructions
Large Pinwheel (2' Across)
Punch the edge of each sheet of 12"x12" paper (if there’s a pattern, make sure to punch along the edge of the paper, keeping pattern in the same direction).
Score each sheet (keeping pattern in the same direction) at 1" intervals, using the scoring board and the bone folder.
Using adhesive tape, secure each sheet together to make one long piece. Attach the ends together to make one big loop.
Cut a circle of chipboard about 5-6" (freehand cut). Lay the giant scored loop on a flat surface and form the pinwheel front side down. Pull the pleated circle in so that the open circle in the center is about 2-3". When happy with the shape, hot glue the chipboard circle to the back and let cool.
Medium Pinwheel (12" Across)
Cut four strips of scrapbook paper 6"x12".
Punch one edge using a decorative edge punch.
Score at ½" intervals.
Follow directions above, adjusting the chipboard circle to fit.
Small Pinwheel (7" Across)
Cut four strips of scrapbook paper 3½"x12".
Punch one edge using a decorative edge punch.
Follow directions above adjusting the chipboard circle to fit.
For other pinwheels, determine the final size of the circle desired. Your strips will be ½ of that width.
5" Circle, two strips 2¾"x12"
4" Circle, one strip 2"x12"
All Pinwheels
