Step 1 Paint the hat purple or your choice of color. Let dry completely. Step 2 Use a sponge dabber or small round sponge dipped in a small amount of black paint to make the polka dots on the hat. Let dry. Step 3 To make the glitter spiral, use a flat 1" brush to apply Mod Podge® or tape your design off with painter's tape. Step 4 Hold hat over glitter tray or shallow box and then sprinkle with tinsel glitter. Hold hat at an angle and tap the bottom of the hat to shake off the excess glitter. Allow hat to dry completely. Step 5 If desired, tie some orange tulle around the hat and glue a pom pom spider to the hat.
