- Paper Mache Masks- Skull
- Acrylic Paint- Black, White, Dark Brown, or Colors of Choice
- Sharpie® Paint Pens
- Martha Stewart Crafts™ Iridescent Glitter Glue
- Foam Brushes
- Antique Medium (or Acrylic Satin Varnish)
Project Instructions
Decorative Mask
Paint the mask black or your choice of color. Let dry completely.
Use glitter glue or a paint pen to draw out your designs. Let dry completely.
Scary Mask
Paint the mask white. Let dry completely.
Mix some antique medium with brown paint and then brush over the skull. Take a rag and wipe some of the brown off. Apply more brown around the eye sockets and teeth. Let dry.
Dry brush some black paint around the eye sockets, inside of nose and above teeth.
Tips
If painting a design on the skull, draw out on paper before painting. Refer to photo to assist with project.
