Material List

  • Black Frame with 3½" x 9½" Opening
  • Cricut Expression® Personal Electronic Cutter
  • Cricut® Winter Frolic Cartridge
  • Cardstock – Black, Red, Gray, Gold Metallic, Red Patterned
  • Ribbon – 1½" Wide Sheer in Red
  • Ink – Black
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Foam Squares
  • Adhesive
 

Project Instructions

Cut a block of red patterned cardstock to fit inside frame.

Cut tree. Using Winter Frolic cartridge and black cardstock, cut one 9" Bird. Repeat cut using red cardstock and Layer feature. Repeat cut using gold metallic cardstock. Repeat cut using black cardstock and Shadow feature. Using gold metallic cardstock, press Shift and cut one 9" Bird. Repeat cut using gray cardstock and Layer feature. Ink edges. Layer together using foam squares and adhesive. Adhere to frame center using several layers of foam squares.

Cut borders. Using gold metallic cardstock, select Border feature, press Shift, and cut two 1 ¼" Snowmen. Adhere to frame as shown.

Cut NOEL. Using red cardstock, select Phrase feature and cut one 2" Donkey. Repeat cut using gold metallic cardstock and Phrase Shadow feature. Using gray cardstock, select Phrase feature, press Shift, and cut one 2" Donkey. Ink edges. Layer together. Adhere to frame as shown using foam squares.

Tie ribbon around top section of frame.
