Project Instructions
- With a marker, draw a line across the bottom third of the felt, creating the "top soil" for the diagram.
- Draw each of the four phases of the plant cycle (seed, sprout, bud, flower) with pencil across the "top soil" line from left to right.
- Glue the different colors of yarn to the pencil lines and fill in the leaves and petals with yarn as well. (A large knot works well for the seed.)
- Label the parts of the plant at each phase as well as the names of the phases with markers.
- Write "Parts of a Plant" or desired title across the top of the felt.
