Material List
- Fiskars® 45mm Titanium Loop Rotary Cutter
- Fiskars® 18"x24" Cutting Mat
- Fiskars® 3½"x18½" Acrylic Ruler
- Fiskars® Short Cut Snip
- Fabric – Linen
- Fabric – Green and Brown
- 100% Cotton Batting
- Sewing Maching
- Thread
- Iron
Project Instructions
Cut the following fabric using a rotary cutter, acrylic ruler, and self-healing mat:
linen- (1) 4½"x4½" and (2) 2½" x 2½"
Brown and Green - (1 each) 2½" x 2½"
Cotton batting - (1) 4½"x4½".
NOTE: All seam allowances are ¼"
Stitch all of the 2½" squares to make a patchwork 4½" square.
Put the patchwork square and the 4½" linen with wrong sides together. Sandwich the 4½" cotton batting square in the middle of the two fabric squares. Pin in place and stitch all around 4 sides, leaving about a 1½" opening. Clip the corners.
Turn the coaster right-side out. Make sure the corners have nice points. Press with an iron. Top-stitch all around, close to the edges.
Repeat steps above to make the rest of the set.
