Project Instructions

Step: 1

Bandana Table Runner
Follow directions on Heat ‘N Bond tape and iron to edge of yellow bandana.

Step: 2

Attach pink bandana to edge of yellow bandana where tape was placed. Set with iron.

Step: 3

Iron on tape to opposite side of yellow bandana and fuse the turquoise bandana to create your table runner.

Step: 4

Bandana Napkin Ring
Paint napkin ring. Let dry.

Step: 5

Tear a 1-inch wide strip from bandana. Cut to fit around ring and secure with glue.

Step: 6

Beaded Tub
Follow directions on Cropadile package to punch holes along top rim of tub about 2-inches apart.

Step: 7

Using painters tape, tape off inside of handle and turn upside down—this will keep paint off the inside of the tub as you spray.

Step: 8

In a well-ventilated area, spray pail with primer, let dry. Spray with Olive paint, let dry.

Step: 9

Measure around top of tub, cut wire twice that length.

Step: 10

Start at one side of tub and thread wire through hole. Add beads and weave through the next hole. Continue around tub. Secure end by twisting wire.

Step: 11

Tear 1-inch wide strips of bandanas and tie to handles of tub.

Step: 12

Patio Candle
Follow directions on surface conditioner and clean surface of jar. Let dry.

Step: 13

Pour small amounts of PermEnamel paint onto a disposable plate. Use spouncer to make dots on jar as desired and let dry. Paint lid with white metal paint and let dry.

Step: 14

Cut an 18-inch length of wire with wire cutters. Make a loop at one end to hold beads, thread on assorted beads making loops in between. The paintbrush handle works well for this. Continue to add beads and loops to desired length of handle. Make a loop at end to attach to jar.

Step: 15

Cut two 10-inch lengths of wire. Attach one end to the end of the handle and make a cuff for the neck of the jar. Add beads and loops, ending at each side of handle. Wrap wire to secure.

Step: 16

Add sand and votive candle to finish.

Step: 17

Paper Flag Banner
Using the template provided, cut assorted patterned flags. Or if not using a pattern, cut 10-inch x 4½-inch elongated triangles.

Step: 18

Fold wide edge of each flag back ¼-inch.

Step: 19

Cut yarn the desired length for the banner.

Step: 20

Lay flags on a flat surface. Place them underneath the yarn and space them as desired.

Step: 21

Fold over the top edge to hold the flag in place and glue in place with glue gun.
