Step 1: Trim patterned papers into 5" x 6" size in the following quantities: Red patterned paper 3 pieces (or more), Blue patterned paper 2 pieces (or more)
Step 2: To create the pennant, turn one of the rectangle pieces of patterned paper over so that the back side is up. With the width being 5" and the height being 6", mark the 2 1/2" point on the bottom edge.
Step 3: Using a ruler draw straight lines from the upper corners down to the center bottom point.
Step 4: Cut at the lines to create the pennant shape.
Step 5: Use this piece as your template and trace on the back of the remaining 5" x 6" rectangles of patterned paper.
Step 6: Trim 1.5" of white cardstock. On the long edge, run each through the "Stars Aligned" interchangeable border punch.
Step 7: Adhere the border-punched strips to the top edges of all the pennant shapes, trimming off any excess.
Step 8: Punch a 1/4" hole on the upper corners of each pennant.
Step 9: Cut six 1" x 8" strips or red printed fabric. Place the pennants in alternating colors. Double-knot each fabric strip to join the pennant pieces together to create the banner.
Step 10: Print or stamp words on yellow patterned paper. Punch into 2" circle shapes. Adhere each in a random fashion on the pennant banner, using foam adhesive.
Step 11: Embellish with rhinestone stickers, if desired.
