Peace/Love Martini Glass
Go a little retro with this martini glass, featuring a heart-shaped peace sign.

- DecoArt® Americana® Gloss Enamels: White, Sand, True Blue, Black, Festive Green, Tuscan Red
- Grande Martini Glass
- Alcohol (to clean glass)
- Cosmetic Sponge
- Brushes: #12 Flat, #6 Flat, #0 Liner
- Container of Water
- Palette or Plastic Plate
- Paper Towels
- Cellophane or Painter’s Tape
- Trace and Transfer Paper, optional
Clean glassware with alcohol and allow to completely dry before painting.
Let paint dry between steps.
Use cosmetic sponge to pounce True Blue on glass stem. Use cosmetic sponge to pounce Tuscan Red on glass base.
Paint stem base Festive Green.
Position and tape patterns to inside of glass.
Paint hearts and lips, Tuscan Red; peace sign, Festive Green; and wings, Sand.
Use #12 flat brush and White to paint wavy band around glass to connect designs.
Use liner brush and Black to outline designs and do lettering.
Use liner brush and Festive Green to outline wavy band.
Use liner brush and True Blue to stripe green lines and stem base.
Use #12 flat brush and Black to stripe glass stem.
Use #6 flat brush and White to paint “LOVE” on base three times. (Freehand or trace and transfer.)
Use brush handle end and Black to dot White wavy band and “LOVE”.
Allow to cure for 21 days or bake following instructions as follows: Allow painted item to dry for 48 hours. Place glass item in cool oven. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes. Turn off oven and crack open door. Allow to cool completely before removing from oven. Hand washing recommended for best results.
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
Allow Gloss Enamels to dry between coats to avoid lifting.
