Peek-A-Boo Bunny T-shirt
Start by giving your tee an ombré tie dye base in pretty Easter colors and then give the bunny center stage with some fabric paint. Using water to blend the dyes into one another helps create a smooth ombré effect.

- Tulip® Soft® Fabric Paitn - Matte Glacier, White, Matte Petal Pink & Matte Ebony
- Tulip® One-Step Dye™ - Fuchsia, Purple and Blue
- T-shirt, 100% Cotton - White
- Plastic Table Cover
- Disposable Cup with Water
- Shirt Board (or Cardboard Piece)
- Foil (or Foam Plate) Palette
- Wide Paintbrush, 3-4"
- Liner Paintbrush
- Craft Sponge
Step 1 Pre-wash T-shirt without fabric softener. Do not dry.
Step 2 Cover work surface with plastic table cover.
Step 3 Place damp shirt on a flat covered surface.
Step 4 Wearing protective gloves from kit, mix each color of dye following dye instructions.
Step 5 Squeeze Fuchsia, first color, at the very top of the shirt. Use wide paintbrush to brush dye downward so it blends into the shirt. If dye is not blending smoothly, dip brush into water and brush over. Continue 1/3 of the way down the shirt.
Step 6 Apply Purple to the middle of the shirt and use above method to apply dye down second third of shirt as well as fading into Fuchsia above.
Step 7 Apply Blue to the very bottom of the shirt. Repeat application method to fade Blue into the Purple above. Let set 6-8 hours.
Step 8 Wash and dry T-shirt according to package instructions.
Step 9 Use pencil to trace pattern onto freezer paper.
Step 10 Cut out pattern with craft knife to create stencil.
Step 11 Place stencil onto shirt and iron onto T-shirt.
Step 12 Insert shirt board or cardboard piece inside T-shirt.
Step 13 Squeeze out Glacier White Soft paint onto palette.
Step 14 Dip craft sponge into paint and apply to stencil. Let dry and remove stencil.
Step 15 Use liner paintbrush to add Petal Pink zigzag to egg, and cheeks to bunny face.
Step 16 Use liner paintbrush to add Ebony whiskers, eyes and nose to face.
