Step 1 Cut all wires to size: one 7" piece of 20 ga., four 12" pieces of 24 ga. and one 12" of 26 gauge.
Step 2 Using Beadalon® chain nose pliers take 26 ga. wire and make hook about ¼." long.
Step 3 Keeping 20 ga. wire in center, line up two 24 ga. wires on either side.
Step 4 Use ruler to find center of wire. Place 26 ga. hook around the center and begin to make 12 tight wraps. Using Beadalon® chain nose pliers, tightly press down on wraps. NOTE: All wraps should be tight and touching. Trim 26 ga. wire.
Step 5 Make another hook on end of 26 ga. wire.
Step 6 Approximately 1" from the center repeat Step 4, making ten tight wraps. NOTE: All wraps should start and stop on same side of the wire. You now have two wraps.
Step 7 Repeat on opposite side. You should have three separate wraps.
Step 8 Position center wrap at bottom of cabochon and begin to shape wire around the cabochon. NOTE: When shaping wire, be sure to keep 20 ga. wire in center and other wires flat.
Step 9 Make hook on 26 ga. wire.
Step 10 Once you have shaped your wires, hook 26 ga. around top where they meet. Make five tight wraps, working closest to pendant and up the length of the wire.
NOTE: DO NOT TRIM THE 26 ga. WIRE.
Step 11 Separate wires, leaving the two 20 ga. wires straight up. Each side should have four 24 ga. wires.
Step 12 Using Beadalon® bale tool, wrap two 20 ga. wires around top to shape your pendant bale.
Step 13 Using Beadalon® chain nose pliers, bend wires up, just behind the 26 ga. wraps.
Step 14 Take excess 26 ga. wire and wrap it around the bale wire where the wires are bent up (approximately eight times). This will secure your bale.
Step 15 Trim excess 26 ga. and 20 ga. wires. NOTE: The side where you cut your 20 ga. wire is the back of the pendant.
Step 16 Lay pendant on its front. Using Beadalon® chain nose pliers, begin to pull 24 ga. wires toward center. Start with outside wires, then pull next level. Repeat this step between bound sections.
Step 17 Pop pink cabochon into place and repeat Step 16 on front of pendant.
Step 18 At top of pendant, pull front two 24 ga. wires downward.
Step 19 Place one bead onto the wire closest to the center of the cabochon.
Step 20 Using Beadalon® round nose pliers, begin to curl the wire end until it resembles a curl. This wire should be about ¼" from bottom of bale when complete.
Step 21 Repeat with remaining three wires, however, stagger them in length, leaving each wire slightly longer than the previous one.
Step 22 Bring remaining four wires down and trim (wire closest to center is 1½"; second is 1-1/5"; third is 2"; fourth is 2¼").
Step 23 Using round nose pliers, begin to make curls on end of wires. Again, stagger the length of wires, with shortest in center.
Step 24 Position each curl over the beaded wire from opposite side. This will secure the beaded wires in place.
Step 25 Run hand over ends to ensure there are no sharp edges. If there are, use round nose pliers to tuck them in.
