- Jerzees® T-Shirt, White
- Jerzees® T-Shirt, Red
- Felt Square, Black
- Pre-made Foam Pirate Hat
- Pre-made Foam Sword
- Needle & White Thread
- Scissors
- Fabric Glue
- Feather Parrot
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Cut arms completely out of white shirt (set aside to use fabric), cut neckline from shirt.
Step: 2
Using one of the sleeves, from white shirt, cut apart at seamline and cut hem from end. Make slits 1-inch apart the length of sleeve leaving 1-inch uncut. Gather uncut edge with needle and thread to make ruffeled collar. Glue to center top of shirt.
Step: 3
Cut slits 1-inch apart and 3-inches long up from hem of white shirt.
Step: 4
Cut arms from red shirt, cut hem from bottom. Cut up center of shirt.
Step: 5
Cut front panels on a slant like picture to make vest look. Glue 1-inch circles cut from black felt down sides of red shirt vest to look like buttons.
Step: 6
Attach feather parrot to shoulder.
