Project Instructions

Green Flower Pot

Wipe terra cotta pot with a moistened paper towel to remove dirt or dust.

Squeeze puddle of Fresh Foliage and Thicket onto paper plate.

Basecoat body of flower pot Fresh Foliage and paint rim Thicket using foam brush; allow to dry. If needed, apply a second coat.

Thin puddle of Thicket to an ink-like consistency.

Load #1 Liner with thinned Thicket. Paint swirls of varying sizes and directions on body of terra cotta pot. Allow to dry.

Load #10 Flat with Fresh Foliage; paint vertical stripes on rim of pot. Allow to dry.

Load #10 Flat with Matte FolkArt® Artists’ Varnish; brush varnish on rim of terra cotta pot to seal painted area.

Using same brush, paint Peridot FolkArt® Extreme Glitter™ over painted swirls on body of pot. Allow to dry.

Cut large floral foam ball in ½. Paint Green and allow to dry. Push into top of clay pot and poke hole in top of floral foam to create hole for dowel rod.

Large Green Nesting Plastic Egg

Draw swirls and write words on green plastic egg using Bright Green directly from bottle.

Break egg in ½ turning the bottom portion upside down. Use hot stencil cutter to make hole in bottom of egg to fit ¼” dowel rod. Put eggs back together.

Paint dowel rods with Fresh Foliage and allow to dry. Push through bottom of egg and use enough dowel so that it reaches the top. Push bottom of dowel into hole created in Styrofoam already inserted in Clay Pot.

Cut leaves from Glitter Green Fun foam and attach to Dowel Rod with glue to finish.
