Project Instructions

Orange Flower Pot

Wipe terra cotta pot with a moistened paper towel to remove dirt or dust.

Squeeze puddle of Pure Orange and Parisian Pink onto paper plate.

Basecoat body of flower pot Pure Orange and paint rim Parisian Pink using foam brush; allow to dry. If needed, apply a second coat.

Select size of spouncer to be used. Load spouncer with Parisian Pink by dabbing up and down into puddle of paint. Dab a few times onto clean area of paper plate to ensure full surface of spouncer is evenly loaded.

Paint Parisian Pink polka dots around body of terra cotta pot. Allow to dry.

Add to paper plate a small puddle of Licorice.

Load handle end of #10 Flat with Licorice by dipping into puddle of paint. Paint small polka dots around Parisian Pink rim. Allow to dry.

Load #10 Flat with Matte FolkArt® Artists’ Varnish; brush varnish on rim of terra cotta pot to seal painted area.

Using same brush, paint Hologram FolkArt® Extreme Glitter™ over large Parisian Pink Polka dots on body of pot. Allow to dry.

Cut medium floral foam ball in ½. Paint Green and allow to dry. Push into top of clay pot and poke hole in top of floral foam to create hole for dowel rod

Medium Orange Nesting Egg

Create dots and swirl line on orange egg using Spouncer and paint directly from Hot Pink bottle. Carefully sprinkle glitter onto wet paint and gently shake off excess. When thoroughly dry, lightly brush off any more excess with a soft paintbrush.

Break eggs in ½ turning the bottom portion upside down. Use hot stencil cutter to make hole in bottom of egg to fit ¼” dowel rod. Put eggs back together.

Paint dowel rods with Fresh Foliage and allow to dry. Push through bottom of egg and use enough dowel so that it reaches the top. Push bottom of dowel into hole created in Styrofoam already inserted in Clay Pot.

Cut leaves from Glitter Green Fun foam and attach to Dowel Rod with glue to finish.
