This is a great way to get kids outside and explore their surroundings. Have them search for their new pet rocks around their yard & neighborhood before getting back together for a fun painting party.

Material List

  • Natural Rocks
  • Craft Smart® Craft Paint – Bright Yellow, Lime Green, Orange, White, Pool Blue, Black, Pink Blast, Campground and Holiday Red
  • Paintbrushes – Assorted
  • Water Container
  • Paper Towels
 

Project Instructions

Paint each rock a solid color. Let it dry. Paint accent features. Let them dry.

Tips

Choose rocks of various sizes from places outdoors that are special to you. Write on the back where and when you found the rock.
