Material List
- Tulip® One-Step Tie-Dye Kits™- Rainbow
- T-Shirt- White
- Plastic Tablecloth or Trash Bag
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Prewash T-shirt to remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener.
Step: 2
Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth or trash bag. Lay damp T-shirt on prepared surface.
Step: 3
Wearing rubber gloves, add water to the Blue and Green dye bottles. Replace caps tightly and shake bottles until dye is dissolved.
Step: 4
Squeeze out Blue dye in a “burst”-like shape on the right side of the shirt. Refer to photo.
Step: 5
Squeeze Green dye onto the remaining portion of the shirt.
Step: 6
Cover fabric with plastic tablecloth or trash bag and let sit 4 to 6 hours. Wash in a large load of water with a small amount of laundry soap and dry in dryer.
