Pumpkin Cupcake Topper
Material List
- Aleene's® Tacky Double-Stick Sheets
- 3/4" or 1" Circle Punch
- Small Flower Punch (Optional)
- Yellow, Green & Brown Cardstock
- Toothpick
- Orange-colored Chalk Ink
- Glitter Glue (optional)
- Scissors
Project Instructions
Apply tacky sheet to back of yellow and green cardstock.
Punch out one yellow circle with the tacky sheet adhered and one yellow circle with no adhesive.
Cut a wavy line into the bottom of each circle and a little notch out of the top to form a pumpkin shape.
Cut two teardrop shapes for leaves from the green cardstock.
Cut one log shape from brown cardstock approximately ¼"x¾" long for stem.
Remove adhesive paper liner from back of pumpkin. Place stem shape and toothpick down center line. Place other pumpkin shape over the adhesive, sandwiching the toothpick and stem shape in the center.
Highlight edges with chalk ink.
Adhere leaves to front of pumpkin where desired.
Embellish with small punched flowers.
Add a drop of glitter glue to the center of each flower. Let dry.
Press toothpick end into cupcake.
