Project Instructions

Step: 1

Paint the purse pumpkin with the 1-inch brush.

Step: 2

Lightly transfer the pattern on to the purse.

Step: 3

Using the 1-inch brush that is wet and blotted on a paper towel, dip one corner of the brush in Tangerine. Gentle Blend on the palette so that the paint goes gradually across the brush. Shade on the outside of the lines referring to the photo for placement. Reload the brush as needed.

Step: 4

Paint the leaves Medium Foliage Green. When the leaves are dry, highlight them with Light Foliage Green. Pick up paint in the brush and wipe off excess on a paper towel. Then dry-brush the highlights so that the Medium Foliage Green shows through.

Step: 5

Allow all the paint to dry.

Step: 6

Outline the leaves with the pen. Add tendrils and a broken line between the sections of the pumpkin referring to the photo for placement.

Step: 7

Paint one button Tangerine and one Pumpkin. Tie a bow with a piece of twine through the holes. Glue one on over the base of the 2 leaves and one at the center of the flap.

Work on one side of the purse at a time.

Use a hair dryer to speed up drying time.

Allow the paint to dry completely between applications.
