This crocheted lampshade cover can be customized to fit any shade.

BODY

Chain 67.

Row 1: dc in 3rd ch from hook, *skip next ch, dc in next ch; rep from * to end. Ch 3, turn.

Row 2: *dc in ch-1 sp, ch 1; rep from * to end. Ch 3, turn.

Row 3: Rep Row 2 until it fits around lampshade. Fasten off.

Whipstitch sides together to join.

TOP

Row 1: *sc in ch-1 sp, 2 sc in next ch-1 sp; rep around the edge.

Row 2: *Skip 1 sc 3 dc in next sc, skip 1 sc, sc; rep shell pattern around.

Row 3: 3 dc in middle of each shell around. Ch 1, join with sl st. Fasten off.

BOTTOM EDGING

Use pattern for Patons ® Grace Crochet Edging for Skirt (from Michaels website) to fit around bottom of lampshade as follows:

Ch 4.

1st row: (WS). (2 dc. Ch 2. 3 dc) in 4th ch from hook. Turn.

2nd row: Ch 6. Sl st in 4th ch from hook. (Ch 3. Sl st in same sp as last sl st) twice. Ch 2. (3 dc. Ch 2. 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp. Turn.

3rd row: Sl st in each of first 3 dc and ch-2 sp. Ch 3 (counts as dc). (2 dc. Ch 2. 3 dc) in same ch-2 sp. Turn.

Rep last 2 rows until Edging measures required length to fit around skirt (lampshade) lower edge ending with a RS row. Fasten off.

Stitch edging to body of lampshade cover by tacking the top of each motif to bottom of lampshade cover.

Fasten jeweled pendants together using jump rings to fit around covered lampshade just above edging. Slip on over lampshade cover.
