Project Instructions

Holding watch face, fill one of four curved channels with E-6000® glue using the point of an eye pin as a tool. Using tweezers, carefully place size 10 brown seed beads on top of the glue. Repeat this step until all four channels are filled with beads. Attach two connected jump rings to each of the four bails. Put aside to dry and complete remaining steps.

Cut 5 pieces of Tiger Tail in the following sizes: 13”, 15”, 18”, 19” and 20”.

Holding chain, cut 4 pieces of 2” length and 4 pieces of 11” length.

Insert one end of the 13” Tiger Tail through a crimp bead and then through a 5mm jump ring. Leave about 1/2 “ of tiger tail and then reinsert the end back through the crimp bead. Crimp bead to secure. Repeat this step using the 15”, 18”, 19” and 20” strands of Tiger Tail.

String the following beads through the corresponding string length respectively. Insert from the non-crimp end of the string. Note: Securely crimp ends through one 5mm jump ring each time a full strand of beads is completed.

(A)    13” Tiger Tail: 3-1/2 inches of “C” beads; 5 inches of alternating “A” and “D” beads; 1 inch “A” beads. This should total 9-1/2” of strung beads.

(B)    15” Tiger Tail: 1 inch of “A” beads; 1-1/2 inches of “B” beads; 3 inches of “E” beads; 2 inches of “B” beads; 2-1/2” of alternating “A” and “D” beads; 1 inch of “A” beads. This should total 11 inches of strung beads.

(C)    18” Tiger Tail: 1-1/2 inches of “A” beads; 7 inches of alternating “A” and “D” beads; 1 inch of “A” beads; 3-1/2 inches of “C” beads; 1 inch of “A” beads. This should total 14 inches of strung beads.

(D)    19” Tiger Tail: 1-1/2 inches of “A” beads; 2-1/2 inches of alternating “A” and “D” beads; 3 inches of “A” beads; 4 inches of alternating “E” and “B” beads; 1 inch of “A” beads; 3 inches of “B” beads. This should total 15 inches of strung beads.

(E)    20” Tiger Tail: 3-1/2 inches of “A: beads; 1-1/2 inches of “B” beads; 7-1/2 inches of “A” beads; 2 inches alternating “E” and “A” beads; 2 inches of “A” beads. This should total 16-1/2 inches of strung beads.

Holding one side of a three-loop bar clasp, connect one gold jump ring to each loop. Connect the left ends of all five bead strands A-E to gold jump rings. Connect strands A and B on one jump ring, C and D on the second jump ring and E on the final jump ring. Repeat this process connecting the right ends to the other side of the three-loop bar clasp.

Connect two pieces of 2” chain to the top left jump ring of watch bail. Connect remaining two pieces of 2” chain to the top right jump ring on watch bail. Connect all four opposite (hanging) ends to any of jump rings on the left side of three-bar clasp.

Connect two pieces of 11” chain to the bottom left jump ring of watch bail. Connect remaining two pieces of 11” chain to the bottom right jump ring of watch bail. Connect all four opposite (hanging) ends to any of jump rings on the right side of the three-bar clasp.

Note: To lengthen necklace: remove existing hook on the three-bar clasp and replace it with one or more jump rings to desired length; replace clasps.
