Project Instructions

This scarf works up in a hurry, using a Boye® size Q crochet hook. This pattern makes lots of scarves to use up your scraps stash. With a mixture of single, double and triple crochet, you’ll have lots of opportunity to practice your stitches.

ch = chain
dc = double crochet
sc = single crochet
sts = stitches
tr = triple crochet

6 sts and 6 rows = 4" in single crochet

With all strands held together, ch 10 sts.
Row 1: Starting with second chain from hook, sc 8 sts across row, being sure not to skip any strands.
Rows 2-4: Ch 1, sc across. (8 sts)
Row 5: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc 7 sts across. (8 sts)
Rows 6-9: Ch 1, sc across. (8 sts)
Row 10: Ch 4 (counts as first tr), tr 7 sts across. (8 sts)

Repeat rows 2-10 until scarf is as tall as the intended recipient. Break yarns. Fasten off. Weave in ends. Add fringe, as desired.
