Project Instructions
Step: 1
Wax serrated knife with candle stub or paraffin and cut thin slice from bottom of foam ball so it stands upright.
Step: 2
Mix one part white glue with two parts water in disposable bowl. Tear tissue paper into small pieces. Dip pieces into glue/water mixture and press to foam ball, completely covering surface, allowing pieces to wrinkle and overlap. Let dry.
Step: 3
Beginning and ending at top of ball, wrap all three raffia colors around it, securing ends with floral pins and glue gun. Trim excess. Pin raffia at bottom of ball, as well, using only two pins to keep bottom as flat as possible.
Step: 4
Use glue gun to glue bits of moss to any exposed floral pins at top of ball. Carefully place adhesive dots under individual raffia pieces on sides of ball to secure.
Step: 5
Use wire cutters to trim floral stems up to 6" long. Refer to photo and insert flowers into center top of foam ball in pleasing arrangement.
