Project Instructions

Bracelet with Charms:

Cut a length of chain to fit your wrist.

Tie the end of the stringing elastic to one end of the chain, and leave a few inches of tail to the end of the knot. You will use this later to tie a knot to the other end.

The beading elastic will be woven through the chain link using a chain stitch. Feed a loop of elastic through a link in the chain. Take the other end and feed a loop of elastic through the previous loop. Pull to tighten. Continue to the end of the chain length.

Tie the end to the last chain link in the length.

Tie the tail ends of the stretch elastic to each other with a double knot. Feed the end back through the elastic for an inch on the back side of the bracelet.

Trim the ends with scissors.

Attach the charms to the chain.

Bracelet without Charms:

Cut a length of chain twice the size of your wrist.

Tie the end of the stringing elastic to one end of the chain, and leave a few inches of tail at the end of the knot.

The beading elastic will be woven through the chain link using a chain stitch. Feed a loop of elastic through a link in the chain. Take the other end and feed a loop of elastic through the previous loop. Pull to tighten. Continue to the end of the chain length. Tie the end of the elastic to the last chain link in the length.

Feed the tail ends back through the elastic for an inch on the back side of the bracelet.

Fold the bracelet in half.

Place a jump ring at the fold in the bracelet.

Place another jump ring at the other end, connecting the chain ends together.

Add a lobster claw to one of the jump rings for the closure.
