Step: 1

Prewash T-shirt to remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener.

Step: 2

Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth or trash bag. Lay damp T-shirt on prepared surface.

Step: 3

Wearing rubber gloves, add water to dye bottles to line indicated. Replace caps tightly and shake bottles until dye is dissolved.

Step: 4

Pull up and wrap a rubber band around top left corner of shirt. Wrap four additional rubber bands around remainder of shirt, making sure rubber bands are evenly spaced apart.

Step: 5

Squeeze Yellow dye onto top first section, then follow with Red in the next section down. Continue applying color to each section according to photo.

Step: 6

Cover T-shirt with plastic tablecloth or trash bag and let sit 4 to 6 hours. Wash in a large load of water with a small amount of laundry soap and dry in dryer.
