Project Instructions

Print and cut out the DCWV® Cone Ornament pattern (download below). Trace this onto the back of your desired print around the solid lines and cut out. With the print face down, fold the sheet at the dotted line, leaving the print face up. Pull the paper into a cone, adhering your small flap to the inside of the cone.

Cut a piece of ribbon 9" long and adhere each end to opposite sides of the cone approximately 1" down. You will need around 8" to make the loop.

Select a cream-based print from the paper pad and cut it down to 3"x12". Fold the paper back and forth in ½" sections to make a fan of folded paper. Insert and arrange this around the top of the cone, covering up the ends of the ribbon; adhere into place.

Find the page with the icons and cut out one for the front. Adhere this at an angle, 1" down from the top edge of the printed paper.

Embellish the area around it by punching out circles and attaching them with brads, folding them in to create dimension and character. Add sections of  Christmas picks in behind the circle flowers and add wire loops to give the cone a whimsical feel.

Change the prints and embellishments to match your tree.
