Project Instructions

Cut dowel rod to 1"-2" long.

Remove the top of the ornament. Pour glue and glitter, as directed on package of Glitter-It!, inside the ornament and roll it around until the inside is completely covered. Set aside to dry.

Select an assortment of coordinating prints (around five) from the Ballet paper pad. Cut into strips of varying widths, leaving each 12" long.

Once your glitter and glue are dry, take a small section of a dowel rod and adhere to the opposite side of the ornament opening (directly underneath) with super glue. Allow to dry.

Begin folding paper strips into loops with the print on the outside. Adhere on the bottom and work your way up to the area around the ornament, as shown. As you work higher up on the ornament, cut the strips into varying lengths so that the top will hang shorter than the bottom.

Once the dowel is completely covered, tie the frayed ribbon around the top, in the area closest to the ornament. Tie a loop of the purple sheer ribbon around the loop at the top of the ornament long enough for it to hang off your tree. Trim ends.

Repeat as desired.

Change the color of the paper and the glitter to match your desired decorating color scheme!

Craft Notes

Use either a glass or a plastic ball to make the main section of your ornament. Glass will show the glitter better, but plastic is safer if it will be within reach of small children.
