Project Instructions

Cut a 2"x4" piece from stiffened felt.

To make the black and white recycled flower, cut circles of recycled fabric and black tulle. Layer the fabric and tulle, six layers are shown. Stitch together. Stitch or hot glue onto bottom corner of stiffened felt. Hot glue the flower or cameo into the center of the recycled flower.

To create the grey felt spiral flowers, begin with a circle the size of the desired flower. The largest flower shown started with a 3" circle. Starting on the outside edge of felt circle, draw a spiral. Cut along the lines drawn and spiral to the center. Start with center, add small amount of hot glue, and spiral your felt back into a circle s shown. Attach with hot glue.

Attach flower / cameo to your stiffened felt with needle and thread or hot glue. Glue on pen back. Depending on size of broach, two pins may be best.

Use these great flowers on clothing, headbands or other embellished items.
