Project Instructions

Basecoat clock face with Real Brown. Paint outer borders with Lime Yellow and Bayberry.

Stencil larger flower element from value pack randomly as shown to front of clock using Autumn Leaves, Sky Blue and Tangerine. Stencil same smaller flowers randomly as shown and also on top of larger flowers in colors shown.

Large leaf is created by using a wing from the butterfly stencil in Bayberry. Smaller leaves are stenciled in Basil Green. Mix equal parts Basil Green and Real Brown to paint stems.

Add vines using Bayberry with liner brush.

Find center of cork circle (see Project Tips). Center clock onto circle and trace lightly.

Measure and mark the 12, 3, 6 and 9 first, centering between outer edges of cork and where clock edge is indicated. Stencil using Real Brown. (Before stenciling, use a piece of paper to determine correct placement and spacing of numbers.)

Space remaining numbers as shown and stencil. Fill in stencil breaks with brush.

Place square clock mechanism over center of cork board and trace. Carefully cut out with craft knife.

Assemble clock hands following package instructions. Apply glue to back of clock and fit mechanism though cutout. (Note: Place cork board over a bowl while glue dries.)

Using the handle end of a paintbrush, apply Autumn Leaves dots to the 12, 3, 6 and 9 spots on clock border.

Tips

Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.

To find the center of the cork board circle, tie one end of a string to a pencil, and the other end to a pin. Keep placing pin towards center while circling outer edge with pencil until it circles equally.
