- Stencil Brushes: ¼-inch, ½-inch
- Flat Brushes: ¼-inch, ½-inch
- #1 Liner Brush
- #4 Round Brush
- Tape: ¾-inch
- Terra Cotta Pots with Saucers: 3½-inch, 4½-inch
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Place strips of tape vertically next to each other around rim of larger pot. Remove every other one and paint desired colors. When completely dry, place tape over painted stripes and remove over unpainted ones. Paint. Remove all tape and with liner brush, add smaller stripes as desired.
Step: 2
Paint rim of smaller pot Lime Yellow and body Real Brown.
Step: 3
Stencil large flower element to big pot and smaller flowers to little pot referring to photo for color and placement.
Step: 4
Add vine accents using liner brush and polka dots using the handle end of paintbrush.
Step: 5
Paint Bayberry lines on rim of small pot using liner brush.
Step: 6
Paint inside of larger saucer Real Brown and small saucer Bayberry.
Step: 7
Add Lime Yellow dots to small saucer using opposite end of brush. Paint Sky Blue and Bayberry stripes on rim of large saucer.
Tips
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
If your stencil smudges or bleeds on terra cotta, use a craft knife to lightly scratch off excess paint to clean up lines.
