Return Policy (Canada)To return or exchange an item, customer is required to present a valid photo ID (see Identification section for list of valid Photo ID's). For return of online purchases, refer to Online Purchases section. Michaels reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges regardless of receipt.
Returns With a ReceiptReturns with a receipt may be accepted, in original condition with a sales receipt within 60 days of purchase for a full refund. If the tender for a transaction was a check, we require a 10 day waiting period before we issue a refund. After 60 days we will issue a merchandise credit.
Returns Without a ReceiptReturns without a receipt may be issued a merchandise credit based on the current sale price of the item or 20% off the item’s regular price. For custom floral arrangements, we will rework the arrangement within 7 days if the customer is unhappy. Returns of seasonal and clearance merchandise will not be accepted without a receipt. Handcrafted Custom Floral Arrangements will not be accepted without a receipt.
Technology ItemsTechnology items (including but not limited to Yudu and Cricut Products) are returnable if the packaging is unopened and in new condition. If opened or without a receipt, technology items are not refundable or exchangeable. Damaged or defective technology items returned during the warranty period are covered by the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions and must be returned directly to the manufacturer for exchange.
Specialty ItemsCUSTOM FRAMING - If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Custom Framing order, please return to the same store location to have the order reworked. Custom components are ordered on a daily basis, limiting the stores ability to cancel. Your satisfaction is our ultimate goal. CUSTOM FLORAL – If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Custom Floral Arrangement, please return to the same store location to have the order reworked. Michaels will gladly rework any arrangement within a 7-day period. Custom Floral Arrangements are not refundable. Your satisfaction is our ultimate goal. Class fees will be refunded for the purchase price only prior to the beginning of the class. Class fees are not refundable after the class begins. With a valid receipt, books are refundable within 14-day period; magazines are returnable within 24 hours.

IdentificationMichaels accepts the following Valid Photo IDs for returns: U.S, Canada, or Mexico Driver's License; U.S. state-issued ID, Canadian Province ID, Passport and U.S. Military ID.
