Project Instructions

Measure 18" of the large gunmetal fashion chain. Determine the length of the chain that best suites your style.

Open a 4mm jump ring and attach it to one end of the Bead Landing™ gunmetal medium size link chain. Attach the jump ring to one end of the gunmetal large link fashion chain. Close the jump ring. Weave the length of the gunmetal medium size link through the large link fashion chain. Weave the chain in and out through the large links. When the chain has reached the other end of the large link chain use a pair of wire cutters and cut the remaining chain off. Open a 4mm jump ring and attach it to this end of the gunmetal medium size link chain. Attach the jump ring to the large link chain to secure it. Close the jump ring.

Repeat Step 2 with a length of the black rhinestone chain, one length of the clear rhinestone chain and one length of the small link silver chain. Trim as needed to fit the length of the fashion chain.

There should be 4 lengths woven through the large link fashion chain.

Cut the remaining lengths of black rhinestone chain into varying lengths. You should have approximately 8 different size lengths. Attach a rhinestone clamp to one end of each length. Open(8) 4mm jump rings and attach one to each rhinestone clamp

Cut the remaining lengths of clear rhinestone chain into varying lengths. You should have approximately 8 different size lengths. Attach a rhinestone clamp to one end of each length. Open (8) 4mm jump rings and attach one to each rhinestone clamp.

Cut the lengths of silver and gunmetal small link chain into varying lengths of 16" to 10". You should have at least 6 lengths of each colored chain. Fold each length in half, but do not make the ends even. With each length in folded in half, tie a simple knot in each chain length. Open (12) 4mm jump rings and attach one to the center of each tied and knotted length of chain.

Find the center of the woven chain length. Measure 2½" from this point. This measurement will be the beginning and ends for the placement of the small chain and rhinestone fringe. Randomly space and place each rhinestone and knotted chain length across this 5" section. Secure each to section to the necklace with the jump ring.

The edges of the fringe should be uneven.

Open(2) 4mm jump rings. Attach one to each end of the toggle. Attach each jump ring to each end of the large link fashion chain for a closure.
