Material List
- Decorative Paper of choice (12-inches x 12-inches)
- Poster Board
- Scissors
- Tacky Tape
- Glue Gun & Glue Sticks (for adult use only)
- Black Cardstock
- Pop Dots®
- Party Rhinestone Embellishment
- Red Craft Boa
- Ostrich Feather Clip
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Trace pattern onto poster board and paper; cut out. Place tacky tape around poster board and secure paper on top of poster board.
Step: 2
Fold patterned poster board to form hat; secure with tacky tape and glue.
Step: 3
Cut banner from black cardstock and secure to center of hat with pop dot. Embellish banner with party rhinestone embellishment.
Step: 4
Cut and secure boa around rim of hat with tacky tape and/or glue.
Step: 5
Secure Ostrich clip on top of hat as shown.
Tips
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
For extra strength, double stick tape poster board to back of hat pattern - this makes the hats more durable.
