1st row: (RS). 3 dc in 4th ch from hook. (Miss next 2 ch. 3 dc in next ch) twice. Miss next 2 ch. (3 dc. Ch 3. 3 dc) in next ch. *(Miss next 2 ch. 3 dc in next ch) twice. Miss next 2 ch. CL in next ch. Miss next 4 ch. CL in next ch. (Miss next 2 ch. 3 dc in next ch) twice. Miss next 2 ch. (3 dc. Ch 3. 3 dc) in next ch. Rep from * to last 12 ch. Miss next 2 ch. (3 dc in next ch. Miss next 2 ch) 3 times. 1 dc in last ch. Turn.

Note: Work sts of following rows in sps between groups of 3 dc or CL.

2nd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). Miss first sp (between turning ch and next group of 3 dc). 3 dc in each of next 3 sps. (3 dc. Ch 3. 3 dc) in next ch-3 sp. *(3 dc in next sp) twice. CL in next sp. Miss next sp (between CL). CL in next sp. (3 dc in next sp) twice. (3 dc. Ch 3. 3 dc) in next ch-3 sp. Rep from * to last 4 sps. Keeping cont of pat, proceed in Stripe Pat as follows:

These 12 rows form Stripe Pat.

Work a further 45 rows in Stripe Pat (59 rows total have been worked), ending on 2 rows of A. Fasten off.

Side edging: With RS facing, join A with sl st at top corner of Blanket. Ch 1. Work 1 row of sc evenly down side edge. Fasten off. Rep across opposite side edge.
