Project Instructions

Step 1
Start by measuring the needed length of the Bead Landing™ gold-tone chain to the same length as the Bead Landing™ rhinestone chain. Remove excess chain links.
Step 2
Repeat Step 1 so that you now have two gold-tone chain strands the same length.
Step 3
Now cut six strands of the Bead Landing™ nude leather cord, with each strand measuring three times the length of the chain. Separate the strands into two groups of three strands.
Step 4
Gather the Bead Landing™ crimp tube with loop and the end strands from the Step 2. Insert one group of the three strands into the crimp tube until it meets the hole of the loop. Using your chain nose pliers, fold over both open edges of the crimp tube and press firmly. Make sure the leather is held tightly with the crimp tube.
Step 5
Repeat Step 4 with the second group of the three strands from Step 3.
Step 6
Loop a jump ring through the hole in the crimp tube from Step 4 and the end chain link of the chain strand from Step 1.
Step 7
Repeat Step 6 with the crimp tube from Step 5 and the chain strand from Step 2.
Step 8
Thread a safety pin through the jump ring from Step 6. Tape safety pin to a secure flat surface so you can begin your braid.
Step 9
Lay the leather strands to the right of the bracelet and pull the left set from under the second link.
Step 10
Begin braiding the three leather strands. The furthest left strand will always loop through the chain link. Reference image. Continue braiding until the leather strands meet with the end of the gold-tone bracelet.
Step 11
Trim excess leather, making sure to leave enough to crimp.
Step 12
Gather the Bead Landing™ crimp tube with loop and the end strands from the Step 11. Insert the three strands into the crimp tube until it meets the hole of the loop. Using your chain nose pliers, fold over both open edges of the crimp tube and press firmly. Make sure the leather is held tightly with the crimp tube. Remove the safety pin.
Step 13
Gather the strands from Step 7. Repeat Steps 8-12. You should now have two strands of gold-tone chain with leather braiding on one side.
Step 14
Now gather the Bead Landing™ rhinestone chain, Bead Landing™ nude leather cord, and E-6000® glue.
Step 15
Add a small drop of E-6000® glue on the back of the rhinestone strand. Now add the nude leather cord and press firmly into the glue until secured.
Step 16
Begin to wrap the brown leather cord around the rhinestone strand.
Step 17
When you have reached the end of the rhinestone chain, trim the leather and repeat Step 15 to secure the end. Add a jump ring to both ends of the chain.
Step 18
Gather this wrapped rhinestone chain from Step 17, the two braided chain strands from Steps 12 and 13, the Bead Landing™ nude hemp cord, and jump rings.
Step 19
Hook a jump ring through the jump rings of the braided chain strand and the wrapped rhinestone chain. Make sure that the braid is on the outside of the chain and that the wrapped rhinestone chain is on the side of the chain.
Step 20
Now add the second braided chain strand to this same jump ring. Make sure that the braid is on the outside of the chain and that the wrapped rhinestone chain is in the middle of the chain.
Step 21
Using the embroidery needle, thread the hemp cord and begin threading through the chain link on the right side, the wrapped rhinestone chain in the middle and through the left chain link. Now thread the needle back through the middle rhinestone chain and back under the chain link on the right side.
Step 22
Repeat Step 21 until you have attached the rhinestone chain to both chain links down the entire bracelet. Loop the needle to tie knots at the end to secure the hemp cord.
Step 23
Add a jump ring and the Bead Landing™ gold-tone lobster clasp to one end of the bracelet.
Step 24
Add a few additional jump rings to the other end of the bracelet to make it adjustable.
