Project Instructions

  1. Clean the rocks and dry before beginning project.
  2. Set the rocks on newspaper. Draw stars, stripes, flags and other patriotic symbols of choice. Let dry.

Tips

Pour a small amount of each paint color onto the disposable plate before using; be sure not to mix the colors. Wash paintbrush with water and dry with paper towels before changing paint colors. Rocks can be painted to fit any season or holiday.

Craft Notes

For outdoor crafts, choose a safe outdoor area, away from traffic and dangerous equipment. Close adult supervision is required. To protect clothing, have children wear an old, oversized t-shirt or smock when painting.
