Project Instructions

In Advance:

Make letters. Tint 8 oz. fondant green. Roll out 1/8” thick. Cut letters. Brush with damp brush and sprinkle on Colored Sugar. Let dry on cornstarch-dusted board. 

Bake and cool 1-layer cake.  

Prepare and cover with 80 oz. yellow rolled fondant.  

Prepare imprinted top.

Roll out 24 oz. white fondant 1/8” thick. Cut an 11x17” rectangle; imprint Happy Birthday design using Imprint Mat. Use shell tool from set to fray edges. Brush cake top with water and position imprinted top.  

Use tip 1 to outline and fill in designs using icing in assorted colors.  

Attach letters with dots of icing.  

Pipe tip 5 bead bottom border.
