Project Instructions

Cut sections of wire.

Wrap the wire around the three large gears and use pliers to create spirals with the end of the wire once the gears have been connected to each other.

Use sections of wire to wrap the R, P, M letters to the bottom of the gears.

Connect the screws to the top side of the gears with wire.

Open a jump ring with pliers to connect the hinges to one side of the gear pendant. Add a section of chain using the pliers to open the jump ring and connect to the other side of the hinge. Repeat for next section of hinge and chain.

Use jump rings to connect the three safety pins to the other side of the gear pendant to form a chain. Add chain to the third safety pin to lengthen the necklace.

Open jump rings with pliers and place various charms (watch faces, eye screws, rulers, etc.) to the chains on either side of the necklace. Be sure to close the jump rings securely with pliers.

Place crystals onto head pins. Use round nose pliers to create a simple loop, and place onto chain. Use side cutters to cut off excess wire near the top of the bead. Take pliers and close the loop securely to the top of the bead.

Attach closure at back of necklace using jump ring and pliers.
