Project Instructions

 *Combine Christmas Red and Red-Red for red shown.

Combine Violet and Rose for violet shown.

Bake and cool mummy, ghost, spider web, spider, cat and pumpkin cookies. All cookies are decorated with color flow icing.

Cyclops
1. To make Cyclops, use mummy cookie.

2. Cut off bandage on cookie. Position cookie on cooling rack placed over cookie sheet and cover with thinned green color flow icing; let dry.

3. Use tip 12 and full-strength white color flow icing to pipe eye.

4. Use tip 3 and full-strength red, orange and black to pipe pupil, iris and bloodshot eyes (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

5. Use tip 2 and full-strength white color flow icing to pipe tooth (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

6 Use tip 2 and full-strength black color flow icing to pipe eyebrow and smile.

7. Use tip 8 and full-strength green icing to pipe ears.

Ghost

1. To make ghost, tint full-strength color flow rose, black, yellow and reserve some white.

2. Position ghost on cooling grid placed over cookie sheet and cover with thinned down white color flow; let set.

3. Use tip 3 and full-strength black color flow icing to outline and pipe in mouth (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

4. Use tip 12 and full-strength rose color flow icing to pipe tongue, use knife to create tongue impression.

5. Use tip 8 and full-strength white color flow icing to pipe arms and tip 5 to pipe thumbs.

6. Pipe tip 5 yellow eyes with tip 2 black pupils.

Spider Web Alien

1. To make spider web alien, position cookie on cooling rack placed over cookie sheet and cover with thinned down violet color flow; let set.

2. Use tip 3 and violet color flow icing to pipe dot nose and tip 8 and white icing to pipe whites of eyes (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

3. Use tip 2 and black full-strength color flow icing to pipe eyebrows, eye pupils and mouth.

4. Use tip 2 and full-strength white color flow icing to pipe tooth.

5. Roll out spice drops and cut into hand and feet shapes; insert 1 ½ in. of shoestring licorice for arms and legs and insert into cookie.

6. Attach 1 ½ in. shoestring licorice pieces for antennae and pipe tip 2 black color flow dots on top.

Bat

1. To make bat, use spider cookie.

2. Position cookie on cooling rack placed over cookie sheet and cover with thinned black color flow icing; let dry.

3. Use tip 8 and full-strength white color flow icing to pipe whites of eyes and tip 3 and black full-strength color flow icing to pipe eye pupils and nose and tip 8 to pipe pull-out ears.

4. Use tip 2 and full-strength white color flow icing to pipe smile and teeth.

Dracula

1. To make Dracula, use cake cookie.

2. Cut ears off cookie and place on cooling grid positioned over cookie sheet and cover with thinned white color flow icing; let set.

3. Use tip 3 and full-strength black color flow icing to outline and pipe in hair and mouth (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

4. Pipe tip 3 black dot eyes and outline eyebrows.

5. Add tip 3 white pull-out fangs and dot nose.

6. Add tip 3 piped tongue with full-strength red color flow icing (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

Spider

1. To make spider, use pumpkin cookie. In advance use tip 3 and full-strength green icing to pipe hair on waxed paper; let dry.

2. Position cookie on cooling rack placed over cookie sheet and cover with thinned down black color flow icing.

3. Use tip 3 and full-strength orange color flow icing to outline and pipe-in mouth (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

4. Use tip 3 and full-strength white color flow icing to pipe whites of eyes and teeth (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

5. Use tip 3 and full-strength green color flow icing to pipe irises (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

6. Use tip 2 and full-strength black color flow icing to pipe pupil lines.

7. Attach hair to stem of pumpkin with full-strength color flow icing in black.

8. Cut black spice drops to resemble shoes and cut ¾ in. pieces of black licorice for legs.

9. Insert licorice legs under cookie and attach with full-strength black color flow icing.

10. Support spice drops with crumpled tissue until dry.
