Project Instructions
Step 1 Measure the area the shoe rack will sit in and draw a plan for the size of the shoe rack. Lay out all the pieces you’ll need to cut. For a standard shoe rack you’ll need two casing pieces and two horizontal shelving planks.
Step 2 Transfer your measurements to the wood of your choice and begin cutting wood to appropriate sizes.
Step 3 Next, affix shelf supports onto side casing pieces.
Step 4 Now, begin assembling the shoe rack. Start by putting Elmer’s® Glue-All® on the edges of the two outside casing boards and affix the lowest center plank shelf.
Step 5 Finally, affix the top horizontal plank shelf using Elmer’s® Glue-All®.
Step 6 For an extra level of sturdiness, use a hammer and finishing nails in areas connecting shelves.
