Project Instructions
Scarf measures 6½" wide and 66" long, not including edging.
GAUGE: 18 sts = 4" in double crochet. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
SCARF
First Half
Ch 31.
Foundation Row: Dc in 5th ch from hook (beginning ch counts as first dc), ch 1, skip next ch, dc in next ch, ch 1, skip next ch, (dc, ch 3, dc) in next ch, [ch 1, skip next ch, dc in next ch] 3 times, ch 1, skip next ch, 2 dc in next ch, [ch 1, skip next ch, dc in next ch] 3 times, ch 1, skip next ch, (dc, ch 3, dc) in next ch, [ch 1, skip next ch, dc in next ch] 2 times, skip next ch, dc in last ch, turn—18 dc, 2 ch-3 spaces, and 12 ch-1 spaces.

Repeat last 2 rows until piece measures about 33" from beginning, end with a Row 2. Do not fasten off.
Second Half
Row 1: Work Row 1 of first half.
Row 2: Work Row 2 of first half.

FINISHING
