  • Loops & Threads® Impeccable™ (Solids 4.5 oz. / 128 ga.) Yarn – Chocolate (MC; 1 Ball), Aqua (Contrast A; 1 Ball), Topaz (Contrast B; 1 Ball) and Aran (Contrast C; 1 Ball)
  • Crochet Hook, Size 5mm (U.S. H or 8) or Size Needed to Obtain Gauge
  • Square Pillow Form, 16" (40.5cm)
 

Project Instructions

Note: First and last sc of each row is left unworked.

Stripe Pat
With MC, work 2 rows.
With A, work 2 rows.
With B, work 2 rows.
With C, work 2 rows.
These 8 rows form Stripe Pat

With MC, ch 105.
1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. *1 sc in each of next 6 ch. Ch 2. 1 sc in each of next 7 ch. Miss next 2 ch. 1 sc in next ch. Rep from * to last 7 ch.
1 sc in each of next 6 ch. 2 sc in last sc. Turn. 104 sts.
2nd row: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. *1 sc in each of next 6 sc. Miss next 2 sc. 1 sc in each of next 6 sts. (1 sc. Ch 2. 1 sc) in next ch-2 sp. Rep from * to last sc. Fasten off. Leave rem st unworked.
3rd row: (RS). Miss first sc. Join A, with sl st to next sc. Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as last sl st. 1 sc in each of next 5 sc. *(1 sc. Ch 2. 1 sc) in next ch-2 sp.
1 sc in each of next 6 sc. Miss next 2 sc. 1 sc in each of next 6 sc. Rep from * to last sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn.
Keeping cont of Stripe Pat, rep last 2 rows until work from beg measures 221/2" (57cm), ending with a WS row. Fasten off.

Fold piece as envelope (see Diagram). Sew 2 sides. Insert pillow form. Sew last 2 sides closed.
