First create the pendant feature. Cut a 5 link piece of chain. Use a 4mm jump ring to connect the chain to the top of the pendant. Thread an 8mm bicone onto a ball head pin, thread it through the 2nd link down on the chain and finish with a wrapped top loop. Click to see technique for making loop. Make 2 more of these drops and wrap them onto the 3rd and 4th links down on the chain. Set aside for now, the top link of the chain will be threaded directly onto the strand to attach the pendant later.
Cut 2-6 inch lengths of chain. Attach just a 4mm jump ring on one end of chain and for the other chain end use a 4mm jump ring to also attach the lobster claw clasp.
Thread onto an eye pin: mirror bead, antiqued rondelle, global crystal, antiqued rondelle and a mirror bead. Finish with a simple top loop. Make 2 beaded links. Carefully open and close an end loop to attach a link to each side chain ending.
Cut a 12-inch piece of beading wire. Use a crimp to attach the wire to one of the beaded link ends. Click to see crimping technique.
Thread on the beads as follow: mirror, crystal rondelle, mirror, 8mm bicone, mirror, silver rondelle, global crystal, silver rondelle, mirror, 8mm bicone, mirror, crystal rondelle, mirror and the pendant feature.
The rest of the strand is a mirror image after the pendant so continue to bead the last step in reverse to complete the center portion of the necklace.
Use a crimp to secure the strand to the beaded link on the other side of the necklace.
