Material List
- To make 16 triple points
Lighter blue 1 ½ inch ribbon for base of points - 1 ¾ yards cut into 4 inch pieces
White ¼ inch ribbon stripe for center of points - 1 ¾ yards cut into 4 inch pieces
Darker blue ½ inch ribbon for tips of points - 1 ¾ yards cut into 4 inch pieces - 3 cardboard backing circles
- White mum flower
- For basic double backing streamers
12 yards of darker blue 1 ½ inch wide ribbon - cut into 2 yard pieces
12 yards of lighter blue 1 ½ inch wide ribbon - cut into 2 yard pieces - To make a “Homecoming” loop streamer
1 yard of lighter blue 2” ribbon and
2 ½ yards of lighter blue 2 inch wide ribbon - cut into 6” pieces
2 ½ yards of 1 ½ inch wide blue ribbon with silver stripe on sides - cut into - 6 inch pieces
- Silver glitter sticker letters to spell Homecoming
- 1 yd sheer blue ½ inch ribbon for bow
- Ribbon for Streamers about 1 yard each piece
1 silver heart garland
4 wide silver metal mesh ribbons
12 printed ribbons - assorted widths in blues, white and silver
6 Silver 1/8 inch ribbons - For Round braid
2 yards each of 2 printed ½ inch ribbons - Trinkets
2 small blue rhinestone hearts
Silver wishbone
10 assorted flat trinkets
3 heart picks - silver glitter look
Small white teddy bear
Silver football
Blue and silver #1 - To make hanger loop
6 inches of blue 1 inch wide ribbon - Stapler

Project Instructions
Step: 1
Make about 16 triple points - Layer lighter blue 1 ½ inch ribbon for base of point, with ½ inch darker blue ribbon on tips of points and ¼ inch white ribbon stripe down center of each. Staple each point twice so it doesn’t slide and then staple to backing spacing evenly around circle.
Step: 2
Prepare flower and attach to the backing with the points.
Step: 3
Make basic double backing streamers - take 1 piece of each color of the 2 yard ribbons, lay one on top of the other and fold in ½ so that the right side of the ribbon still shows on both sides ( the top will make a point). Then staple the point onto another cardboard backing circle in 2 rows of 3 double streamers, overlapping slightly.
Step: 4
Make a Homecoming loop streamer - layer the 6 inch pieces of 1 ½ inch wide blue ribbon with silver stripe on sides on top of the 2 inch wide lighter blue 6 inch pieces and fold over to form loop. Staple loops onto the 1 yard piece of the lighter blue and add silver sticker letters to say Homecoming. Staple into your mum.
Step: 5
Add the following with staples or hot glue
Silver heart garland - looped
4 wide silver metal mesh ribbons
12 assorted printed ribbons in coordinating in blues, whites and silver
6 to 8 pieces of Silver curling ribbon
Step: 6
Make round braid with 2 pieces of printed ribbon and staple into the mum.
Step: 7
Hot glue or tie the following embellishments as shown
Sheer blue ½ inch ribbon 6 loop bow
2 small blue rhinestone hearts on feet of bear
Silver wishbone
10 flat trinkets hot glued on ribbon
3 heart picks - silver glitter look
Small white teddy bear
Silver football

Step: 8
Make a blue ribbon hanger loop. Staple well to top of streamer backing circle.
Step: 9
Hot glue the streamer back to the flower/point back. Then hot glue the 3rd backing circle to the back of that to cover up all of the staple ends.
