- To make 16 double points
1 ½ inch red ribbon for base of points - 1 ¾ yards cut into 4 inch pieces
1 inch printed silver on silver ribbon on center - 1 ¾ yards cut into 4 inch pieces - White mum flower
- 3 cardboard backing circles
- For basic double backing streamers
12 yards of red 1 ½ inch wide ribbon - cut into 2 yard pieces
12 yards of white 1 ½ inch wide ribbon - cut into 2 yard pieces - 1 yard of 1 ½ inch red ribbon
- Silver sticker letters to spell Homecoming
- Flat braid of red 1 inch ribbon and clear and silver printed 1 inch ribbon
- 1 yard ½ inch red ribbon for bow
- Ribbons and Garlands -1 yard each piece
2 wide wire mesh ribbons- silver
20 printed ribbons, assorted sizes and designs of red, white, silver, clear or black
3 pieces each of red and silver curling ribbon

Project Instructions
Step: 1
Make about 16 double points - layer 1 ½ inch red ribbon for base of points with 1 inch silver ribbon on center. Staple each point twice to secure and then staple to backing, spacing evenly around circle.
Step: 2
Prepare flower and attach to the backing piece with the points.
Step: 3
Make basic double backing streamers - take 1 piece of each color of the 2 yard ribbons, lay one on top of the other and fold in ½ so that the right side of the ribbon still shows on both sides (the top will form a point). Then staple the point onto another cardboard backing circle in 2 rows of 3 double streamers, overlapping slightly.
Step: 4
Make a Homecoming streamer with the 1 ½ inch wide red ribbon with silver sticker letters, staple into mum.
Step: 5
Buy or make a flat braid using red 1 inch ribbon and clear and silver printed 1 inch ribbon. Staple into mum. Tie a loopy red bow at bottom.
Step: 6
Add the following ribbons and garlands by staples or hot glue
2 silver wide wire mesh ribbons
20 assorted printed ribbons
4 different 1 to 1 ½ inch wide clear printed ribbons
3 each red and silver curling ribbon
Silver Star garland

Step: 7
Add flat plastic trinkets by tying or hot glue
4 Assorted red helmets
4 flat red footballs
2 silver 3D hearts
Medium Black cowbell

Step: 8
On mum flower hot glue

Step: 9
Make a hanger loop with white 1 inch wide ribbon. Staple well to top of streamer back.
Step: 10
Hot glue streamer back to flower/point back, then hot glue the 3rd cardboard back on the back of that to cover the staple ends.
