- Fine Grit Sandpaper
- Thick Craft Glue
Paint a base coat frame with 1:1 mixture of Baby Blue and Bleached Sand and letter "S" with Baby Blue.
Trace and transfer pattern outlines.
Base coat as follows: Bottom frame section, snowman, snow under house and trees, Bleached Sand; scarf, house and chimney, Heritage Brick; hat, Lamp Black; pine trees, Hauser Medium Green; tree trunks, Milk Chocolate; star, Marigold.
Trace pattern details.
Use Baby Blue to shade snowman, bottom edge of snowy ground underneath house and trees, each side of front pathway and along bottom of Bleached S and rectangle.
Paint snowman's nose Burnt Orange, arms Milk Chocolate, eyes and coal buttons Lamp Black. Highlight eyes with Bleached Sand. Add Bleached Sand along top of snowman's nose and arms and right side of trees for snow.
Paint door Milk Chocolate and windows Marigold. Roof is two lines of Lamp Black.
Using 10/0 liner brush and thinned Bleached Sand, paint slanted lines in background section for letter "S".
Thin Lamp Black with water to ink-like consistency. With 10/0 liner brush and mix, do all detailing on frame as well as letters n, o, and w. Go back over each letter several times to achieve a scribble look.
With handle end of brush, add Bleached Sand dots to letter "S". Use stylus and Bleached Sand to dot snow falling on snowman.
Position and adhere letter "S" to frame.
Varnish frame with DuraClear matte varnish. Let dry completely.
