Material List
- Foam Board
- Felt: Red (2 each 9-inch x 12-inch pieces), Tangerine (9-inch x 12-inch piece), White (1 yard)
- Buttons
- Needle
- DMC® Embroidery Floss, Black
- Cosmetic Powder Blush, Pink
- Pine Wreath, 18-inch
- Foam Top Hat
- Holiday Pick of choice (2)
- Stick It Snowflake Felt Embellishments
- Glue Gun & Glue Sticks (for adult use only)
- Ruler
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Cut an 18-inch circle from foam board.
Step: 2
Cut an 18-inch circle from white felt.
Step: 3
Use needle and embroidery floss to sew buttons on white felt as shown to form face.
Step: 4
Cut triangle from tangerine felt, roll into a cone or “carrot” shape and glue to secure together. Fill carrot with pieces of felt. Glue carrot to face for nose.
Step: 5
Apply pink cosmetic blush for cheeks.
Step: 6
Glue white felt face to foam board. Turn pine wreath upside down and glue foam board to wreath.
Step: 7
Cut both sheets of red felt down to 5-inches x 12-inches. Tuck both pieces into wreath to form scarf as shown and secure with glue. Embellish scarf with felt snowflakes and pick.
Step: 8
Cut foam hat in half. Cut a strip of red felt for hat band and glue in place. Glue floral pick to hat. Glue hat to wreath as shown.
Tips
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
When sewing buttons onto felt use a small amount of hot glue to hold them in place.
