Material List
- STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam Discs: 6-inch x 1-inch (9)
- Acrylic Craft Paint: Black
- Stiff Paintbrush
- Scrapbook Paper: Soccer Themed
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Thick White Craft Glue
- Straight Edge
- Toothpicks
- Cardboard Strips: 16-inch x 1¾-inch (3, optional)
- Ribbon of choice: ½-inch x 18-inch
- Straight Pins (2)
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Paint the edges of each 6-inch foam disc with black, extending paint to cover ¼-inch around the top edge of each. Let dry.
Step: 2
Trace the 9 discs onto the reverse side of the scrapbook papers. Cut out circles.
Step: 3
Adhere papers to fronts of discs using a thin, even layer of white craft glue. (Note: Papers may appear wavy at first, but will smooth out as the glue dries.)
Step: 4
Arrange discs in a 3 x 3 grid as shown, using a straight edge to make sure they’re square. Spread glue on end of toothpick and insert ½ way into each edge that adjoins another disc; spread glue on other end of toothpick and on edge of discs. Push discs together.
Step: 5
Optional: For additional support, glue a 16-inch x 1¾-inch strip of cardboard behind each row of discs.
Step: 6
Pin and glue the ends of the ribbon to the back for a hanger.

Materials and Instructions are for the Soccer Wall Art made with nine 6-inch discs. You can also adapt these instructions to make the individual soccer bulletin boards shown by using one 9-inch or 12-inch disc and adding embellishments such as soccer themed stickers, rub-ons, buttons and charms.
